Welding Stainless Steel

Due to the low energy input, the micro-structure is changed into a very fine-grained, tough micro-structure with a high cyclic loading resistance. The volume also increases by approx. 5%, which prevents seam collapse without additional material. High arc pressure and energy density lead to great penetration depths and pronounced root runs. In PLASMATRON®, additional material can be used to fill fillet seams and larger gaps can be bridged.
