Plasma cleaning
The reshaping of sheet metal, the machining of components or simply handling components often means that surfaces are contaminated or organic residues and lubricants can be left behind. It is precisely in such cases that plasma cleaning comes into play.
The hot plasma of InoCoat 3, which is generated with argon gas, enables localised or linear cleaning and large-area pretreatment by scanning the surface in a meandering pattern. Due to its lightweight and compact design, the equipment can be effortlessly guided via X-Y handling or robot over planar and 3D components, and can thus also be integrated into and used in an in-line manner in existing plant configurations.
Sustainable cleaning process
Another advantage of this technology is the environmental friendliness In comparison to the chemical cleaning process, no chemicals or substances harmful to health or recycling are necessary. Furthermore, no additional waiting time for rinsing with water, drying or other steps is required after the cleaning.
